主要研究领域
本研究组主要致力于流感病毒的跨种间传播机制、动物源性病毒的致病性、分子流行病学的特点和分子进化，以及抗病毒药物等方面的研究与开发。
主要在研课题
1）国家十五攻关项目“高致病性禽流感预防科技专项－畜禽主要病毒病原分子进化研究平台”。
2）国家十五攻关项目“高致病性禽流感预防科技专项－禽流感病毒感染机理及新型治疗性纳米抗体的研究”。
3）一项国家973计划“动物源性病毒跨种间感染与传播机制研究－病毒功能蛋白与宿主细胞内蛋白的相互作用。”
研究内容
（1）禽流感病毒的感染机理及基质蛋白M1与人类宿主蛋白之间相互作用的研究；
（2）猪流感病毒、鸡传染性支气管炎病毒、鸡传染性法氏囊病毒等几种主要畜禽病毒病原的分子进化研究平台的建立；
（3）抗病毒药物的研究，包括猫ω干扰素及其它宠物干扰素的开发、改造和新型纳米抗体、亚单位疫苗等多种新型抗病毒药物的研究。
