叶新山 教授 博士生导师(药物化学)
1981－1988年就读于武汉大学化学系并取得学士及硕士学位，毕业后在华中农业大学从事有机化学教学工作。1993－1996年在香港中文大学取得博士学位。1996年底至2000年7月在美国Scripps研究所从事博士后研究工作。2000年9月被聘为北京大学“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授。多年来从事有机化学、药物化学、糖类的化学生物学及基于糖类的药物研究。
主要研究方向：1．新的糖化学合成的方法和策略的发展；2．生物活性寡糖(包括肿瘤相关寡糖抗原)的合成及活性评价；3．糖组装物、糖缀合物、糖模拟物的合成及其与内源性生物大分子相互作用关系的研究；4．糖苷酶、糖基转移酶抑制剂的设计、合成、评价以及基于糖类的新的抗肿瘤、抗病毒药物的发现。
