主要成果

    从事帕金森病的临床和神经药理的研究以及教学工作20余年。擅长神经生物学与分子生物学方面的工作。早在1987年就在国际生物学杂志Life Science和国家一级 杂志科学通报,中华内科、中华神经和精神病杂志上发表了6篇论文。受美国著名神经病学教授Appel的邀请,1989赴美在著名的美国德州医疗中心贝勒医学院(BaylorCollege of Medicine)神经系做博士后,现为该医学院神经病学副教授、帕金森病研究中心主任,旅美专家协会医学与生物工程学会主席。

主要研究工作包括:

(1) 帕金森病的基因特变 
(2) 多巴胺神经干细胞和多巴胺株的制备
(3) Nurr1基因与多巴胺神经元发育、变性 
(4) 帕金森病发病的免疫学机制
(5) 以及β淀粉样多肽损伤脑内神经元的分子生物学机制
(6) 阿尔茨海默病免疫治疗等研究,取得了重要的科研成果。
在《Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA》、《Nature Genetics》、《Journal of Neuroscience》、《Cancer Research》、《Gene Therapy》、《Journal of Neurochemistry》、《JAMA》、《Annals of Neurology》、《Archive of  Neurology》、《Neurology》、《Experimental Neurology》、《Journal of Neuroimmunology》、《Brain Research》、《JAMA》等国内外重要学术杂志上发表论文近90篇,其中SCI收录的62篇,被引用1300余次,并多次应邀参加国际学术会议做大会发言。应邀担任了《Life Science》 、《Analytical Biochemistry》、《Neuroscience》、《Journal of Neurochemistry》、《Cell Research》、《Journal of Neurogenetics》等杂志的审委以及《Journal of Neurology and Rehabilitation》,《Chinese Medical Journal English edition》,《Chinese Journal of Neuroscience》和《New Drugs and Remedy》的编委,NIH,VA 和新加坡科学院研究基金的评委。获得科研基金22项,包括美国NIH三项RO-1奖。
