个人简介
胡赞民 男,博士,研究员,博士研究生导师。

  1985年毕业于河南师范大学生物系获学士学位。1988年毕业于哈尔滨师范大学生物系获硕士学位。1988-1992年哈尔滨医科大学任助教和讲师。1995年获北京大学生物系理学博士学位。1995-1997年中国科学院遗传研究所博士后。1997年在中国科学院遗传所任副研究员、研究室主任。1998-2000年美国农业部牧草实验室(犹它州立大学)博士后。2000年9月回中科院遗传与发育生物学研究所。

  胡赞民博士领导的创新研究组主要研究方向是经济作物遗传工程。主要致力于重要基因的克隆、新型植物表达体系的建立、遗传转化方法的探索、外源基因在植物中的表达规律和重要经济作物的遗传工程改良等研究工作,以不断为植物遗传工程的发展提供理论基础、新技术并获得重要经济作物新品系(品种)。

主要研究内容为:
  1. 植物叶绿体表达体系研究
  植物作为生物反应器日益受到科学家的重视,但由于外源基因在核基因组中表达量低,难以应用于生产。叶绿体是光合作用的重要场所,每个子叶细胞都含有大量的叶绿体,外源基因在叶绿体内表达量是在核基因组中表达的几百倍。本项目旨在探索外源基因在植物叶绿体中高效表达的理论和应用问题,包括外源基因在叶绿体DNA上的定点整合、高效表达、转化叶绿体的同质化等。
  2. 林木抗旱基因的克隆
  我国具有大量抗旱林木资源。本项目旨在收集西部抗旱林木资源的基础上克隆与抗旱有关的基因。
  3. 植物染色体微切割与微克隆研究
  植物染色体微切割与微克隆技术是将植物细胞遗传学与分子生物学联系起来的桥梁,它是植物高密度遗传连锁图谱的构建、精细物理图谱的构建、重要基因的定位和克隆等研究的重要工具。本项目旨在不断探索植物染色体微切割与微克隆的新技术,并应用该技术建立特定植物染色体或染色体片段的DNA文库和EST文库,进而分离重要新基因。
  4. 棉花抗虫抗病的基因工程育种
  我国棉花病虫害严重,虽然抗虫棉基因工程已取得突破性进展,但利用我国拥有自主知识产权的基因获得的抗虫棉在生产上急需进一步加强,而抗病基因工程尚未取得重大突破。本项目旨在利用本研究组克隆的拥有自主知识产权的抗病虫基因开展棉花抗病虫基因工程研究,获得优质抗病虫
  5. 油菜抗病及脂肪酸改良基因工程研究
  我国是油菜种植大国,但每年进口油菜多达300多万吨。我国油菜生产中存在的主要问题是 ①油菜主产区菌核病严重,产量损失大。②油菜品质较差,单不饱和脂肪酸含量低,芥酸、硫苷含量超标。本项目旨在利用基因工程手段解决油菜抗菌核病问题及提高油菜单不饱和脂肪酸含量(同时芥酸、硫苷低于国际标准),从而提高油菜的品质,有利于人民身体健康。
