陈敏博士毕业后一直从事糖蛋白工程研究开发工作。近3年主持山东省优秀中青年科学家科研奖励基金1项，山东大学青年基金1项，山东省卫生厅基金一项，作为副组长主持863 项目一项；参加国家自然科学基金项目2项。在国内外学术刊物发表学术论文10余篇，申请发明专利2项。目前由多家制药企业资助，主持开展利用毕赤酵母生产糖基化改造的干扰素研究。
