张燕君,1964年出生.1988年毕业于中国科技大学生物系，1996年山东大学生命科学院遗传学硕士毕业,2001年山东大学生命科学院发育生物专业博士毕业。现为山东大学生命科学院发育生物专业副教授。硕士生导师。自1997年至今，一直从事文昌鱼发育相关基因的研究工作。
