学术带头人：王业富教授
王业富 武汉大学生命科学学院教授、博导。1982年获武汉大学学士学位，1983年武汉大学生物系本科毕业，获学士学位，1998年获武汉大学理学博士学位，于2001年——2002年在武汉大学化学与分子科学学院作博士后研究，2004年在加拿大西安大略大学作访问学者。曾在西藏高原生物研究所（助理研究员）、武汉大学氨基酸研究所（副所长），武大弘元生物技术有限公司（副总经理）做科学研究和技术开发工作。现为武汉大学生物芯片技术领域负责人，校纳米科学与技术研究中心核心成员，病毒学国家重点实验室学术骨干，湖北省生物工程学会秘书长。
王业富教授前期在多个研究机构承担过中藏药开发、系列药用氨基酸生产中试放大和产业化研究，参与过多个绩优公司的创业和高层管理工作（有3家公司年销售额超亿元），因此对于科学技术研究独具慧眼，对培养人才方法独到。
近年来，王业富教授致力于主要病毒病源和常见病源微生物的检测技术研究，建立了基因芯片、蛋白质芯片、荧光定量基因检测技术和金标层析试纸条快速检测技术平台，特别是在目视化生物芯片技术研究方面形成了特色。5年来承担国家科技攻关和湖北省、武汉市各类科研项目17项，总经费300余万元。，综合运用免疫学、分子生物学、生物化学、物理化学、细胞生物学、生物工程及基因组学的理论和技术，开展病毒学与微生物学的应用基础研究。主要科研工作经验包括：HIV及主要性传播疾病及主要病毒性肝炎集成检测生物芯片技术研究、乙肝病毒感染机制与受体筛选鉴定、血吸虫定量基因检测和金标试纸条技术研究、非细菌性肺炎与结核的鉴别检测技术研究等。在国际国内重要学术刊物上发表学术论文30余篇。获授权专利6项，成果鉴定8项。获省部级奖励6项。
