学术带头人：杨荣阁研究员
杨荣阁 医学博士，研究员，中科院武汉病毒研究所艾滋病学科组长。
1986年7月获中国医科大学公共卫生学专业医学学士学位，1999年3月获日本山梨医科大学微生物学专业医学博士学位。1994年4月至2005年6月在日本山梨医科大学、日本国立感染症研究所艾滋病中心从事HIV/AIDS相关研究工作。2005年6月回国到中科院武汉病毒研究所工作，中国科学院“百人计划”入选者，武汉病毒研究所学术、学位委员会委员。兼任《中国病毒学》副主编、日本岩手医科大学客座讲师、湖北省微生物学会第十届理事会理事。
长期从事HIV/AIDS分子流行病学及分子病毒学基础研究，对中国艾滋病流行源头地区云南省的HIV基因变异及重组有一定的研究，建立了一套新的分子流行病学分析方法，揭示了部分中国HIV流行重组株形成机理，阐明了部分中国境内HIV/AIDS流行规律，成功地克隆了感染性HIV流行性病毒株等，先后发表一系列相关论文及申请了相关专利。目前承担中科院“百人计划”、国家“863”、“973”等科研课题。
