研究方向:细胞间的分子识别与发育
作为生命活动的结构与功能单位,细胞与外界环境之间的信息交流是生物界普遍存在的重要事件;而在多细胞生物中,细胞与细胞之间的识别更是广泛存在,涉及到细胞的分裂、分化直至个体发育几乎所有过程,也涉及多种疾病的病理过程。本研究组主要应用遗传学、分子生物学等手段,结合模式生物开展下列研究:
1、细胞间的分子识别在免疫和神经系统中作用的比较研究。 MHC是人类最具多态性的遗传系统,其基因产物参与免疫系统中的抗原提呈。但它的广泛分布提示它具有多种功能,如肿瘤发生乃至神经发育。本研究组和本实验室相关课题组合作,进一步研究中国高发肿瘤中HLA的表达在免疫识别(TCL,NK等)作用,以及在神经发育与疾病中的可能作用。
2、突触形成、神经系统的发育与相关疾病。突触的形成和维持不但是神经系统发育所必需,而且与学习记忆等高级神经活动密切相关。许多与神经发育有关的疾病都与突触调制和维持有关。本研究组以神经元表面蛋白分子为研究对象,通过建立转基因果蝇模型,研究它们在神经发育及高级神经活动中的作用,并和本实验室相关课题组合作在RNA调控、DNA甲基化修饰等表观遗传水平上,探讨果蝇神经系统发育与孤独症的发生机制。
3、用于疾病诊治的标志物研究。通过生物工程技术,探讨基础研究成果的应用价值。

1981年参加工作;1995.10毕业于南京大学生物化学系,获博士学位;1997.1-1998.12在美国The University of Rochester Medical Center作博士后;1999.5-2001.8在加拿大The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto做博士后、访问学者;2003.10-2004.1在德国Max Planck Institute of CBG in Dresden作高访学者。1991年至今,在东南大学医学院从事医学生物学、遗传学的教学、科研工作(教育部发育与疾病相关基因重点实验室)。教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授。获得国家自然科学基金、国家杰出青年科学基金、“973重大基础研究项目”、美国NIH基金(RO3)等资助。
