罗达，男，研究员，博士生导师，副所长。1982年毕业于华南农业大学，1998年入选中科院“百人计划”，1998年获“国家杰出青年基金”资助。

目前主要从事高等植物花型发育和三维形态建成的分子遗传机制的研究工作，以植物功能基因组为平台，研究与植物发育相关调控基因的表达模式及其生物学功能，探讨决定植物分生组织基本结构和属性转换的途径，阐明植物形态建成所涉及的分子机理。主要工作有：百脉根、水稻等模式植物突变群体的构建，筛选、定位和克隆与植物形态建成相关的重要功能基因；植物基因表达谱的研究；豆科植物的比较基因组研究。目前的研究主要集中在花形和植物形态发育调控的分子机理上。主持“863”，“973”，国家转基因专项等多项国家级研究项目或子项目的科研工作。现为“863”计划专家组成员，国家自然科学基金委员会生物科学部专家咨询委员会委员。
