
张鹏,研究员、博士生导师。山东泰安人。中国科学院上海生命科学研究院植物生理生态研究所研究组长,2006年入选中国科学院百人计划,并与瑞士联邦理工大学(苏黎世,ETH Zurich)联合成立上海木薯生物技术中心,主要从事薯类生物技术的研究。2004年获Eiselen Foundation Ulm的Jubilee Prize 2003奖。
主要研究内容:
研究目标是通过分子生物技术,有针对性地改良和提高木薯和甘薯的品质、产量、抗逆性和抗病能力,进一步提高它们在生物质能应用上的潜力和优势。目前重点开展:1、木薯和甘薯离体植株再生和遗传转化系统的建立和优化;2、利用过表达或RNA干扰技术对木薯和甘薯之糖及淀粉合成与降解途径进行修饰;3、通过表达抗逆境基因来改良对逆境的适应能力,特别是干旱、低温及盐碱;4、提高抗病虫害和抗病毒病的能力,特别是非洲木薯双生病毒、甘薯RNA病毒及茎线虫;5、利用提高自由基清除机制延长储藏根的采后贮存时间;6、木薯和甘薯功能基因组学及重要基因和启动子的分离与功能验证。
